Sheri Gould - Vocal Master Classes
Sheri Gould writes a regular vocal column for Worship Musician! Magazine and teaches at major conferences throughout the country including The International Worship Institute, Seminars4Worship, and the Christian Musician Summit.

Part 1:The Complete Vocalist
We'll start with a quick review of basic vocal technique. Then we'll move on to some more advanced concepts with regard to song delivery, stage presence, choosing the right song in the right key etc. We'll spend some time focusing on developing your tone quality and style. We will also discuss group vocal technique. This will include how to be an effective background vocalist, proper mic technique, getting a great blend for your group and more. We'll learn basic harmony structures and how to grow your own ability to find the 'perfect' harmony for you and for your group. In addition we'll discuss how to create and use improvisation techniques effectively.

Part 2: Vocal Practicum
This is the time where we put into practice the things we've learned. Think of it as a giant voice lesson. There will be opportunity for individuals and groups to sing and get critiqued if desired. There is a lot to be learned by watching others learn! We will also take time to apply some of the concepts learned throughout the conference through hands on experience.
